What happened in Vegas...paid off!

Well, it's the moment we've been waiting for...Buddy got accepted to graduate school! In the near future, he may be a UNLV Rebel without a cause! Of course, there are other schools he's waiting to hear from, but UNLV is definitely at the top of the list. This way I could just make us rich at the tables...sure beats working!We are so excited and grateful for Brandon's acceptance and we'd like to recognize just a few of the contributing factors :
1) First and foremost, prayers and fasting as well as our families' prayers and fasting. (Perhaps someone didn't want to be bothered anymore!) Thank you!
2) Brandon's constant dedication to his studies:
3) Michelle's fading British accent. I went to Vegas with Buddy when he interviewed, and as he was short on time I dropped him off and tried following important-looking people to try to obtain a parking pass. Turns out I was parked in the wrong place and a well-dressed man came out to try and assist me. He asked who I was with and I told him I didn't want to divulge that information in case it reflected badly on my husband that his wife can't navigate her way around a car park. He became intrigued by my weird accent and we got to talking and I eventually confessed that I was with Brandon Richards. Turns out he's Head of the Admissions Committee! He told Brandon he thought I was pretty funny and I guess that helped a white male from Idaho stand out a little!

4) Brandon's sassy new brown suit. We owe a lot to the suit.

Well, we're sleeping a lot better these days knowing that someone wants Buddy at their school, especially in a city where I could pursue a career as a showgirl.
