I have been weighed, I have been measured and I have been found wanting...

...to exercise more.
Having a husband studying to be a physical therapist comes with its ups and downs.UP: He's able to test my reflexes, blood pressure, pulses, sensation, muscles and posture to see if they're normal.
DOWN: If they aren't normal, he doesn't know what to do about it.
UP: He can measure my body fat.
DOWN: He did measure my body fat...right after a 6'0 Amazon woman who played volleyball in college. I saw the numbers through my tears.
RESULT: Visiting our complex's gym four times in four days...then inhaling a bowl of ice cream, rendering my efforts completely useless. Buddy had the opportunity to hone his skills and practice on family (we're holding off on friends for a while) when we visited Provo over Labour Day weekend. Kelly looks a little nervous, and perhaps for good reason.
T-Rav seems to be doing just fine. Quite confident in his normal blood pressure and intrigued by the sphygmomanometer.
Manda remained cool and collected, despite the intense look of confusion he wore the whole time, which could make some nervous...I guess his "bedside manner" could use a little work.
But he's on his way, people! Only 2.75 years to go and he'll be able to tell me what to do about my weak pulse, low blood pressure and poor alignment!

2 pennies for your thoughts:

We might be joining you in Las Vegas soon. Mark and Brandon will probably see each other a lot if Mark gets into the UNLV PT program.
